Every Sugar & Spruce candle is made to order with the customer in mind. Rather than mass-producing or holding excess stock, we hand-pour each candle in small batches as it’s ordered. Most orders ship within 7–10 days.

For first-time buyers, this means your candle is crafted fresh, with care and attention to detail.
For returning customers, it’s the same thoughtful process you’ve come to expect—quality over quantity, every single time.

Candle Care Tips

• On your first burn, allow the candle to burn for 3–4 hours. Ideally, the melted wax will reach the outer edges of the container on the first burn. If it doesn’t, don’t worry — it may take a second or third burn to get there, and that’s completely normal.

• Keep an eye on the wicks. You may not need to trim until the third or fourth burn, as every candle behaves a little differently. If you notice high flames, soot, or smoke, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight.

• For a steady, even flame, keep your candle away from drafts.

• Always burn safely: keep candles out of reach of children and pets, away from flammable objects, and never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

• When extinguishing, gently blow out the flame or use a candle snuffer if you have one.

• Store your candle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes. While it might be tempting to keep a candle in your car for the scent, hot summer days can cause the wax to melt, potentially damaging both the candle and your car’s interior.
